- This requirement was previously synopsized under W912P8-10-B-0035. The CORRECT solicitation number for this requirement is W912P8-10-B-0037. The work consists of casting 70,000 squares of articulated concrete mattress and an option to fill, place and remove sandbags at St. Francisville Casting Yard, St. Francisville, LA. (The estimated time of completion is 122 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed). The solicitation will include 6 drawings and specifications). This is a 100% HUBZONE Set-aside procurement. NAICS Code: 327390 which has a size standard of 500 Employees. This requirement is being procured as a Firm-Fixed price type contract under FAR 14, Sealed Bidding. The solicitation will issue on or about 13 November 2009, and a bid opening date will be established in the solicitation. The bidding instructions and closing date and time for submission of bids will be contained in the solicitation notice and package. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 13 November 2009, on FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential offerors MUST register on FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov/ in order to receive notification(s) and/or change(s) to the solicitation. The Interested Vendors List (IVL) will be activated and may be accessed and printed from the FedBizOpps web site. Prospective contractors who would like their company name included on the IVL list may do so on the FedBizOpps website under IVL. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package.
