- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Title: Carpet Cleaning Locations: 1243 Stafford Drive, Princeton, WV 24740-2408 Meadowbrook Mall, 2399 Meadowbrook Rd., Suite 180, Bridgeport, WV 26330-9619 Contracting POC: Tamara Wright, Tamara.A.Wright@usace.army.mil Technical POC: Jonita Brown, 410-962-5603 S--Contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to provide carpet cleaning services at the U.S. Armed Forces Recruiting Stations, 1243 Stafford Drive, Princeton, WV 24740-2408 and Meadowbrook Mall, Suite 180, Bridgeport, WV 26330-9619. Period of Performance shall be a Base year and four option years, beginning 01 October 2009 through 30 September 2014 (Carpet must be cleaned in December for this FY). All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend a site visit prior to submittal of bid. This visual inspection will more than likely have an effect on the way prospective bidders will prepare their estimate for the work to be performed. This requirement NAICS is 238330 and the size standard is $14.0 million. It is currently set-aside for small businesses only. This requirement must be provided in strict accordance with the statement of work included in the request for quotation bid package that can be obtained from the Corp s' website. Only those vendors who can provide the requirement EXACTLY as stated in the specifications may provide a quote. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Contractors requests for this solicitation must be performed through ASFI. Accounts may only be attained by CCR-registered contractors; you must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) to receive a government contract award. Bids can be submitted via e-mail or mail to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, Simplified Acquisition Team, 10 South Howard Street, 7th floor, Room 7000, Baltimore, MD 21201-2530. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge on or about 06 November 2009, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) System (https://www.fbo.gov/index).
