- Description
- The purpose of this synopsis is to publicize the forthcoming acquisition. This acquisition is to provide custodial services and window cleaning at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas and Frederick Auxiliary Airfield, Oklahoma. The 82nd Contracting Squadron anticipates issuing a competitive solicitation FA3020-10-R-0001 for a firm fixed-price contract. The projected basic performance period is for six months (01 April 2010 to 30 September 2010), plus four twelve-month option periods (01 October 2010 to 30 September 2014). This potential acquisition is 100% set aside for 8(a) firms. All potential offerors must be certified 8(a) prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561720. The size standard is $16.5 million. The solicitation along with additional documents (Performance Work Statement, Blank Price Exhibits, CBA, etc.) will be released approximately 1 December 2009. The solicitation and subsequent amendments will be publicized through the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at www.fbo.gov. Contractors are solely responsible for monitoring the Internet to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. Paper copies and/or electronical mail of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will not be provided under any circumstances. Prospective offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) for award of a contract. Registration can be accomplished electronically at www.ccr.gov.
