Description
N00033-10-R-3201 Time Charters for Two 2400-TEU capacity ships Class code: V NAICS: 483111 TITLE: Time Charters of two self-sustaining cargo ships in support of the U.S. Army. Solicitation N00033-10-R-3201. DESCRIPTION: The Military Sealift Command requests proposals for the time charter of two self-sustaining ships with a minimum capacity of 2400 TEUs each, capable of carrying containers laden with ammunition in support of the U.S. Army Prepositioning Program. The ships shall be U.S. Flag upon delivery. The anticipated performance start dates are 22 August 2010 (Vessel One) and 28 April 2011 (Vessel Two). Two contracts will be awarded. The contract for Vessel One will include a base performance period of approximately two months, four one-year options and a final five-month option. The contract for Vessel Two will include a base performance period of approximately six months, four one-year options and a final five-month option. It is anticipated that the unrestricted Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued on or about 30 Nov. 2009. The competitive solicitation will include a separate classified attachment and corresponding classified evaluation factor. An active SECRET Clearance is required to view this attachment.
