Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to conduct a sole source procurement for its IDEA software maintnance Kearneysville, WV. This software is mandated by GAO and is critical to the continued success of the IRS financial statement audit. This is not a Request for Quote and no solicitation will be publicized. The Government intends to solicit and award to only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested parties may provide a written response to this Notice, to be received by the IRS by no later than 12:00 P.M. (EST), November 18, 2009. Responses that clearly demonstrate the ability to meet all requirements and that is more advantageous to the Government will be considered. However, the final award decision lies solely with the Government in this matter. Any questions should be directed to Yolanda McDaniel, Contract Specialist, in writing, via e-mail:Yolanda.R.McDaniel@irs.gov. If no written response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements and that it is more advantageous to the Government, the IRS will negotiate and award a contract, on a sole source basis to Audimation Services Inc.
