- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Caribou-Targhee National Forest, intends to acquire by contract the restoration of the historic buildings at the USFS in Swan Valley, ID. Project is located at the Swan Valley Work Center on Ranger Station Road in Swan Valley, ID The Forest Service intends to issue a solicitation for this project utilizing FAR Part 14 procedures for sealed bidding. This acquisition is open for full competition – No set-aside is being used. A single firm-fixed price type contract will be awarded to the responsible Bidder (IAW FAR Part 9, Contractor Qualifications) whose bid is of the lowest price. Payment Protection will be required for this project and Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply to any resulting contract. This solicitation will be available on or about November 27, 2009. The period of performance for this project provides for project completion no later than September 30, 2010. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render a bidder ineligible for award.
