- The purpose of amendment 004 is to change the solicitation release date FROM: On or about November 16, 2009 TO: On or about December 11, 2009.The Department of Veterans Affairs, Center for Acquisition Innovation - Frederick Operations Center, Frederick, Maryland, will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Vet Success, Veterans Vocational Rehabilitation and Education Services. The solicitation shall result in multiple Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) Contracts by Regional Office with one twelve month period of performance and provisions for four twelve month option periods. Minimums and Maximums for each contract award have not been established, but are expected to be based on the needs of the Regional Offices. The solicitation will be issued with a combination of full and open and set asides based on market research obtained from Request for Information (RFI) VA-798-09-RI-0046. The total value of the contracts is estimated at $330,000,000 inclusive of all options. A copy of the solicitation will be available at FEDBIZOPS website on or about December 11, 2009. The RFP number will be VA-798-09-RP-0059. The final contract award decision may be based on a combination of past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
