- LOCATION : New Hogan Lake, Calaveras County and Farmington Dam, Stanislaus and San Joaquin County, California. This Procurement shall be conducted under FSC CODE: S208, SIC CODE: 0782, NAICS Code: 561730. The size standard is $7 million. All questions shall be directed to the Purchasing Agent, Phyllis Charles, at (916) 557-5164, FAX: No.: (916) 557-7854, e-mail Phyllis.C.Charles@usace.army.mil. TYPE OF AWARD : This acquisition shall be 100% Small Business set-aside Request for Quotation. JOB DESCRIPTION : Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, licenses, permits, transportation and supervision necessary to perform Weed Control services at New Hogan Lake, Calaveras County, CA and Farmington Dam, Stanislaus and San Joaquin County, CA The scope of work shall consist of spraying road shoulders, campgrounds, oxidation ponds and other areas as specified. Additional spraying may be necessary to control weeds not controlled by the initial spraying. Total estimated square footage for the entire contract is 3,470,000. Prospective contractors are strongly urged to visit the site, To set up a site visit contact the Lake at (209) 772-1343 to become familiar with the location and the work involved. The period of performance is for a Base Year and Four Option Years. All Quotations are due not later than 11 December 2009 @ 5:00 PM PST. The acquisition method is Request for Quotation. Evaluation factors for award shall be as follows: Award shall be made to the responsible, compliant contractor whose quotation offers the best value to the Government based upon low price. VENDORS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. ORDERING SOLICITATION : The solicitation shall be available on or about 13 November 2009. The Request for Quotation shall not be provided in hard paper copy. The hyperlink shall be inserted into the notices for this acquisition posted on both the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website ( https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ ) and the FedBizOpps (FBO) web site ( www.fbo.gov ) once the solicitation is issued.
