THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W91QV1-10-B-0001. PROJECT TITLE: Attic Stairwell Renovation & Install Receptacles Invitations for Bid number: W91QV1-10-B-0001 Army Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Attic Stairwell Renovation & Install Receptacles for Defense Acquisition University (DAU); Fort Belvoir, VA is now posted at ASFI Project scope: Enclosing attic stairwells in six DAU buildings. This effort will provide a safer work environment for the building occupants and workers that are required to access the attic for equipment repairs. Installing receptacles in classrooms 53 and 54 one each 5-6 poke through receptacles and two 4 receptacles in each classroom. The classroom receptacles are required to enhance the data cabling for the classrooms and allowing easier access for the IT technicians to manage the cables in these classrooms. Contractor shall comply with all Federal, State, Local, and Industry codes and standards. The contractor is expected to provide all labor, supervision, management, material, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary for the performance of construction services IAW the Statement of Work. The project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000 and it will be a firm fixed-price contract. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 236220. This IFB is set aside to 100% small business contractors. Date of Issuance of the IFB is November 12, 2009. Closing date for receipt of IFB is December 15, 2009. Tentative contract award date is on or about December 30, 2009. Payment bond and irrevocable letter of credit (ILC) will be required. All prospective offerors must register in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. Interested parties should review the aforementioned site regularly for any/amendments to the requirements. All other pertinent information will be contained in the solicitation package. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
