- This Request for Information is the initiation of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation document exists and the Government does not intend to pay for any information furnished pursuant to this RFI. The Program Manager, Optics & Non-Lethal Systems (ONS), Infantry Weapons Systems (IWS), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is conducting market research in order to identify contractors that have the capability to disassemble, repair, and reassemble Generation III image intensifier tubes (Part Number MX-11769, Manufactured by ITT Night Vision and L-3 EOS. For specific system requirements and information on responding to this RFI, please see the attached document titled "M6785410I1022, RFI for Image Tube Repair."
