- Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision necessary to complete Project RA679-09-116 Upgrade Cabling and Telephone Closets at the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Contractor shall provide completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials and perform work for this project. This project is to provide new communications rooms, upgrade existing communications rooms and replace all existing voice/data cabling with new CATEGORY 6 cabling. The estimated dollar value of construction is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Estimated solicitation issue date is on/about November 23, 2009, with a bid opening date of December 22, 2009. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5 million. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSB). All solicitation packages will be available for downloading from the website www.fedbizopps.gov. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE PROVIDED.
