Description
RECOVERY -- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS LEASED OFFICE SPACE IN DETROIT, MI STAR #: 9MI2182 The United States Government seeks to lease contiguous office and related space in a Class A building in Detroit, MI. The space offered must consist of approximately 3,260 rentable square feet, yielding a minimum of approximately 2,500 to a maximum of 2,835 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet. The Government will require one (1) reserved structured parking space within one (1) block of the offered building, and the lease must be fully serviced. DELINEATED AREA: The proposed space must be located within the following delineated area: Northern Boundary: Vernor Highway, between Lodge Freeway and I-375 Southern Boundary: Detroit River, between Schweitzer Place and Third St. Western Boundary: John C. Lodge Freeway extended to the Detroit River along 3rd St., between Vernor Highway and the Detroit River Eastern Boundary: I-375 between Vernor Highway and the Detroit River LEASE TERM: The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges after five (5) years. OCCUPANCY: Space must be ready for occupancy no later than October 1, 2010. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire and Life Safety and Handicapped Accessibility, and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABBAS) Requirements. The proposed building must provide security services consistent with what is provided by Class A buildings within the Delineated Area. Owners, brokers or agents may offer space for consideration. All expressions of interest submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence of authorization to represent the building's ownership.
