Matl: Steel,aluminum, rubber, and Teflon. Quantity: 3.0000 EA Applicable to: E3B Destn: FB2039 - TINKER AFB, OK 73145-9013 Delivery: 31 AUG 2010, 3.00 Issue Date: 17 OCT 2009 Estimated Response Date: 16 NOV 2009 Export Control: NO To: ITT FLUID TECHNOLOGY CORP: The proposed contract action is forsupplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit andnegotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302,however, Qualification Requirements, QR's, do apply. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposedcontract based upon responses to this notice is solely within thediscretion of the Government. Information received will normally beconsidered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation will be available fordownload on the release date from www.fedbizops.gov. No telephonerequests. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be sent from thisoffice. The purpose of the Ombudsman isnot to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues,disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate governmentpersonnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strictconfidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the sourceselection process.
