Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 21-10-390PFS006 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. Quotes given shall include all related shipping and handling charges conducive in shipping to U.S. Coast Guard Academy, 15 Mohegan Avenue, New London, CT 06320. ITEM 001: CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL LABOR, MATERIAL, EQUIPMENT, TRANSPORTATION AND SUPERVISION TO DESIGN / FABRICATE AND INSTALL AN ORIENTATION EXHIBIT FOR THE U.S. COAST GUARD ACADEMY. UTILIZING IMAGES AND ARTIFACTS PROVIDED BY CGA CONTRACTOR WILL DESIGN TEN (10) INTERPRETIVE PANELS AND FIVE (5) STANDARD EXHIBIT CASES. EXHIBITS SHOULD BE MOVEABLE. UPON COMPLETION CGA WILL RECEIVE A FINAL COPY OF DESIGN SPECS TO INCLUDE ALL DIGITAL FILES, PRODUCTION SAMPLES AND ANY ADDITONAL STYLE GUIDES USED IN PRODUCTION. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial item (Jan 2005). Only one (1) award will be made as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference IAW FAR 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998) and remain in full force in any resultant purchase order. FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items (Jan 2005), applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items (Jan 1999). FAR 52.213-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items (May 2005). FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (Oct 2003), is incorporated into this RFQ and is an addendum to add the following clause: FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003). Selection Criteria: This acquisition will be awarded utilizing “Best Value”, with the following selection criteria in order of importance: a.Technical Specifications b.Quality Assurance c.Cost Offers are due no later than 1:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) on 25 November 2009.
