Description

Previously Advertised as: AG-9A40-S-09-0012 on 10-26-2009. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, State required insurance, incidentals, and transportation necessary to perform snow grooming of snowmobile trails and provide a smooth surface, upon which an average snowmobile user can travel up to a safe speed of 35 MPH on the Calaveras Ranger District, Stanislaus National Forest. The trails to be groomed consist of the following: (a) Bear Valley Trail, approximately 2 miles, from Bear Valle, across State Highway 4, to the Silvertip Campground unloading area on Highway 4. (b) Highway 4, approximately 10 miles from the silvertip Campground unloading area at the Lake Alpine snow park around the road closure gate, east on Highway 4 and 1 mile down into Stanislaus Meadow and back up to Highway 4, continuing east on Highway 4 past Mosquito Lakes, into Pacific Valley, to Hermit Valley, and to the Dear Valley OHV Trail Head. (c) Highway 4, approximately 5 miles, from the Dear Valley OHV Trail Head, east on Highway 4 to the Highland Lakes Road junction, then 1.5 miles to top of Ebbetts Pass and back to Highland Lakes Road Junction, then south on Highland Lakes Road, and 5 miles to Highland Lakes. (d) Spicer Reservoir Road approximately 13.5 miles, from Highway 4 to Spicer Reservoir power house, Union and Utica Reservoir, and to Slick Rock Road.
