- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. One (1) TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FORTHERMOCOUPLES FOR CEV TPS TESTING. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in theirquote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a writtenamendment will not be issued.This is a modification to the synopsis entitled THERMOCOUPLES FOR CEV TPS TESTING,NNA103106227Q, which was posted on November 6, 2009. You are notified that the followingchanges are made: 1. The requirement for the 5 sample R-type Thermocouple (TCs) to be submitted with thequote has changed. NASA Ames Research Center is still requesting five (5) R-type TCs butonly one of them needs to be full sized. The other 4 samples may be a weld with 2 inchesof lead wire on each side of the weld. 2. There is no change to the requirement for the five (5) K-type sample TCs. The due date for responses is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on November 6, 2009. Documents related to thisprocurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web(WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
