- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify firms capable of providing all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to perform full replacement of existing WWTP and replacement of the existing effluent drain fields at the USCG Sector North Carolina facility in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. Replacement of WWTP shall be largely in-kind, although equalization capacity will be increased to 30,000 gallons and an anoxic section included facilitating nitrification/denitrification of wastewater. In addition, existing rapid sand filters will be replaced with fixed media filters for ease of maintenance. Upon completion and testing of the new WWTP, the Contractor shall demolish and remove the existing plant and provide final site grading. The NAICS for this project is 237110 with a Small Business Size Standard of $33.5M. Vendors interested in performing this requirement are invited to provide the following information to USCG CEU Cleveland (Attn: Ms. Komer) no later than COB 11/20/09. The information shall be submitted via email to the Contracting Officer at pamela.m.komer@uscg.mil. When responding by email, please indicate “Sources Sought 10-PCU058” in the subject line. Failure to do so may result in your response being lost. DO NOT SEND BUSINESS INFO EXCEPT FOR WHAT IS REQUESTED. NO TELEPHONE, WRITTEN NOTIFICATIONS OR REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS will be honored. When available, the resultant pre-solicitation notice and solicitation will be posted at this website. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided. The Government Reserves the right to consider a small business, 8(A), or any other set aside arrangement as deemed appropriate for this procurement.
