- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, has a requirement to replace the HVAC system in the Control Bay Building at Hungry Horse Powerplant. The principal components of the work include: removing and disposing of existing 500 kV dry type transformer and control panel; removing and disposing of existing fan, louver, and blast heaters; removing and disposing of existing ventilation filters; modifying the existing suspended ceilings; insulating the existing suspended ceiling; asbestos removal; insulating existing duct work; furnishing and installing a 40-ton commerical air handling unit and condensing unit; modifying the existing duct work to meet the design requirements for the new heating and cooling air flow; furnishing and installing new return duct, grilles, and dampers; furnishing and installing a new 500kV transformer, control panel, motor controls, and breakers; furnishing and installing a new 100 kV transfomer, control panel, motor controls, and breakers; and furnishing and installing materials for the complete electrical system. This requirement will be issued as a negotiated request for proposals, and specific evaluation factors for the project will be detailed in the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220, and the small business size standard is $14 million.
