- RECOVERY: TAS::14 1035::TAS Park Boundary Buoys, To Replace In-Kind With Buoys Lost In Hurricane Omar This requirement is being procured in accordance with Far 12 Acquisition of Commercial terms and an award will be made in accordance with FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract. The North American Industry classification System (NAICS) is 326199. This procurement is for unlighted Ionomer Foam Buoys. The Ionomer buoys must meet the US Coast Guard (USCG) specification for private aids to navigation. The USCG recommend the National Park Service use the Ionomer foam unlighted buoys to provide best performance and meet specifications for park boundary private aids and associated ground tackle/moorings. These buoys will be delivered to Buck Island Reef National Monument; Buck Island Reef National Monument is located at St Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. The National Park Service is presently using Electronic commerce (EC) to issue Request for Quotations and Purchase Orders. You must register in EC at website http://www.ccr.gov. If you have any registration questions, please call 1-888-227-2423. Prior to registering each company must obtain a Dun and Bradstreet Number. You may obtain this number free of charge at 1(866)705-5711. Once you are registered you will be able to view solicitations on line at either http://www.fedbizopps.gov or http://ideasec.nbc.gov (the Department of Interior site). However, you will be able to view the solicitation without registering at www.fbo.gov. For question at Interior's site, please call the help desk at (703)390-6633. This will be your only means of obtaining the solicitation/award. All contractors with access to the internet and an e-mail address can receive electronic notifications of award. CAUTION: This solicitation has been issued electronically as will any amendments. The Government is under no obligation to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for proposal receipts may render your offer non-responsive and result in the rejection of the offer. All prospective contractors are required to submit or upload their organizations representation and certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov prior to submitting their offer, failure to do so will render your offer non-responsive. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Vender must have an updated CCR and ORCA report by the solicitation deadline to be considered for the award. All quotes must be received at this office no later than November 16, 2009, 10:00 A.M. Local Time.
