- *RECOVERY* ***** THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY ***** ***** PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE ***** The USDA - Forest Service intends to award a Firm Fixed price Contract for the following project: Located on the Pisgah National Forest on the Sycamore Cove/Grassy Loop Bike Trail in North Carolina, this project consists of the maintenance of 4.2 miles of Sycamore/Cove Grassy Loop Mountain Biking trail and 3.8 miles of Thrift Cove Trail and 1 mile of the South End of the Black Mountain Trail to bring them up to current USDA Forest Service trail standards. Work will include, but may not be limited to, restoration of the trail tread, creating and restoring drainage dips, placement and/or replacement of rock features as needed, and brushing vegatation along the trail to allow adequate clearance for bikers. The solicitation for this project will be forthcoming. Please check back in the next few weeks for its release and all applicable requirements and related information.
