- AMENDMENT 00001 DATED 11/05/2009 AMENDMENT 00001 DATED 11/05/2009-PLEASE READ CAREFULLY-BID OPENING EXTENDED TO 11/17/2009. SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS AVAILABLE 10/09/2009 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: Replace Generator Transfer Switches and Generator Mufflers at USCG LORAN Station Carolina Beach, NC HSCG83-10-B-PCU010 Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to replace generator transfer switches and generator mufflers. Major work items include but are not limited to: replace existing 120/208V, 3-phase, 1200A automatic generator transfer switches, all generator controls and associated cabinets with new automatic transfer switches, new generator controls, full primary and backup emergency generator power shall remain available at all times during construction. Provide (2) 300KW, 120/208V, 3-phase temporary generator, temporary automatic switches, temporary controls, and temporary connections in order to maintain full operable emergency power during replacement. Provide new electrical wiring, conduit, etc. Replace existing outdoor generator mufflers with stainless steel mufflers. All exhaust piping to be replaced from the generator exhaust manifold to muffler. Provide new exhaust blankets. This procurement is estimated between $100K and $250K. This procurement is a Total HUBZone Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS is 238210/$14.0M. Completion time is 112 DANTP. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency. NO TELEPHONE OR WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS WILL BE ACCEPTED. TENTATIVE date for posting the solicitation is 09/21/2009 with an estimated date for bid opening of 10/21/2009. The exact time set for the opening of bids will be established upon issuance of the Invitation for Bid. Interested parties are encouraged to register at the FBO website to be notified when information on this project is uploaded.
