- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. The Social Security Administration is seeking sources capable of providing Fraud Investigative Services for the Kansas City Region Cooperative Disability Investigations Unit (CDI) located in Kansas City, Missouri. The requirement is for investigation of suspected fraud activities against the Social Security Administration's Title II and Title XVI Disability Programs, (including Title XIX, Medicaid) throughout the Western half of Missouri. The requirements include the following; (1) Personnel must have law enforcement (arrest) authority, as defined by the statutes and regulations of the state of Missouri; (2) Experience using the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and National Insurance Crime Bureau; (3) Experience conducting undercover investigations; and (4) A license to carry a concealed weapon (must be armed). All potential contractors will be required to pass a security background check before beginning performance under the award. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 561611. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database at www.ccr.gov prior to award of the contract. A fixed price contract is anticipated. Contract performance will be a base period of one year, with four one-year option periods. Information supplied in reply to this notice will be used solely for market research purposes. This notice does not constitute a solicitation for proposals. Information supplied in reply to this notice will not constitute a proposal or an offer for services. Information submitted in reply to this notice shall be provided at no cost to the Government. This information will be used in SSA's identification of capable sources.
