Description

The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Bruker AXS Inc, Madison, WI. to provide maintenance for a D8 Discover X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD). This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 - only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 811219. The Period of Performance for this service is 01/01/2010 through 12/31/2010 with (4) one year options. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, as no solicitation document is available. However any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give a written or fax notification to the Contracting Officer within eight (8) calendar days from the date of this published notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist Bill T. Responses received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
