RECOVERY--PROJECT NUMBER 30745, USACE LEVEE SAFETY PROGRAM RECOVERY -- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTORS UNDER SOLICITATION W912DQ-08-D-0045 The US Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price Task Order under contract W912DQ-08-D-0045 using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds. The IDIQ Contract was originally competed under solicitation number W912DQ-08-R-0027, and awarded to HNTB (CAGE: 1EQW7), for the Kansas City District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, within the District Area. PROJECT INFORMATION: The Contractor shall perform a levee safety Periodic Inspection (PI) on several levee systems within the Kansas City District. The levee systems to be inspected may consist of multiple segments and have multiple sponsors per system. The purpose of PIs is to verify proper operation and maintenance, evaluate operational adequacy and structural stability, review design criteria to identify changes in current design standards, identify features to monitor over time, and improve the ability to communicate the overall condition. This task order is part of the nationwide Periodic Inspections of Levees Related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.
