Description
NOTE: This acquisition for this NSN was previously posted as part of a multi-NSN IQC package under solicitation SPM4A709R1462 on 3 Sep 09; however, this NSN was removed from that package and will be solicited separately under solicitation SPM4A710R0140, IQC09265009069. This acquisition to result in the award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for NSN 2840-01-334-6924 for a base year plus 4 option years as follows: Configuration Control Item GE, CAGE 07482 Aprroved Sources: TSS Technologies, CAGE 28884 Beacon Ind., CAGE 32816 Export Control Dwg is available for this item 100% Small Business Setaside Other than full and open competition after exclusion of sources Noncommercial item FOB Dest, Inspect/acceptance origin Estimated annual qty 1404 Required Delivery--156 days production Govt. FAT required in 180 days CSI Item Mylars applicable No Surge Requirement Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. “A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the RFP.
