- Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to notify the public that the National Institute of Aging will provide a pre-proposal site visit to the government animal facilities on Wednesday, October 21, 2009. The tour to the Gerontology Research Center and the Biomedical Research Center will be offered at 10:30 AM local time and lasts over 1 hour. Interested parties must contact the contracting officer and submit a written request to take the specified tour and to receive information on parking and meeting location. Please note that all questions related to the subject acquisition must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer after the tour. There will be no questions/answers session provided during the tour. Also note that, all questions for clarification related to the subject acquisition must be submitted to the contracting officer no later than 11:59 PM local time Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Questions submitted after the specified date and time will not be accepted. Offerors respond to the subject RFP and submit proposals must acknowledge Amendment 1 to the subject RFP in the proposals.
