Description
This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for non-commercial MILSPEC supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. NSWCCD Philadelphia seeks to award this order unrestricted. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD)Philadelphia has established a requirement for cabling according to the following estimates: Base Year, Item 0001 - Aircraft Electrical Service Cable Assembly 95ft (Qty. 100), Item 0002 - Aircraft Electrical Service Cable Assembly 95ft (Qty. 100), Item 0003 - Aircraft Electrical Service Cable Assembly 95ft (Qty. 100), Item 0004 - Aircraft Electrical Service Cable Assembly 95ft (Qty. 100), Item 0005 - Aircraft Electrical Service Cable Assembly 95ft (Qty. 100). The Aircraft Electrical Service Cable Assembly to be furnished shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-32180 dated 17 November 2004 except as follows: 1.) Cable assembly length shall be 95ft in lieu of the length specified in paragraph 3.4.1. 2.) The cable assembly shall be furnished with an ON/OFF Pushbutton switch that is integrated into the cable head. The Pushbutton shall have a normally OPEN ON contact and normally CLOSE OFF contact and shall have a minimum continuous rating for 115VAC, 1 Amp, 60-400Hz and 28VDC, 2 Amps. Any additional specifications for the supply items will be listed with the posting of the solicitation. The resultant basic award will be a Large Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) Contract based upon a 30 day delivery period after each delivery order award. The contract will be awarded on a Low Cost Technically Acceptable basis using policies and procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 335931 with a size standard of 500 employees. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation. Specific details will be provided in the solicitation RFP N65540-09-R-0048, which will be posted on the World Wide Web at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ (click on Business Opportunities) and http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ (click on Vendors) on or after 31 October 2009.
