- THIS NOTICE IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This Sources Sought (SS) is for information and planning purposes only and is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The Department of the Army, Mission Installation Contracting Command, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Jackson, SC (MICC) is currently requesting information in order to determine the existence of viable commercial sources that are interested and capable of performing the work described herein. Responses are welcomed from all interested and capable firms. This SS is not restricted to a particular socioeconomic program and/or business size. MICC, Fort Jackson does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses received as a result of this SS. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this SS. As a result of this Sources Sought, MICC-Fort Jackson may issue a Request for Proposal (RFP). THERE IS NO SOLICIATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The contractor shall provide all materials, transportation, supervision, and labor to accomplish transcription services. The contractor shall, as requested by the Government attend and transcribe all business at a location on Fort Jackson determined by the Contracting Officer Representative, for investigations and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission hearings of formal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaints. The contractor shall provide within 14 calendar days after close of the investigation or hearing, the delivery of one original printed transcript to the judge or investigator, to the EEO office at the address that will be provided. In addition if it is a hearing the contractor shall provide within 1 business days after the close of hearing, the delivery of one original copy of the transcript, one copy mini-transcript and a CD-Rom to the agency representative whose name and address will be provided. The intended contract period is a base year with four option years. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 561492. The small Business Size Standard is $7.0 M. Any interested firm should submit a Capability Statement to include experience with similar projects of a comparable magnitude. Statement should include your firms general background, experience, qualifications, and industry specific awards. A special notation should be made of similar or related programs performed for the Government including documentation with reference to the applicable contract numbers and the supervising agencies. Examples of print quality are encouraged. Responses may be submitted electronically to Le Sabre L.
