- Global Information Grid (GIG) Services Management (GSM): DISA is working to finalize its acquisition strategy to replace the expiring DISN Global Solutions (DGS) contracts. At this point, final decisions about this acquisiton strategy, contract(s) structure, contract(s) duration(s) have NOT been made. Industry feedback indicates DISA efforts to visually inform industry about scope and content are being interpreted as reflecting contract structure. DISA strongly suggests that industry NOT attempt to extrapolate or deduce anything regarding contract structure from publically presented materials. Once final decisions are made, hopefully within the next two months, DISA will conduct an industry day explaining the strategy so that industry can prepare for the solicitation.
