- The Department of Veterans Affairs Charles George VA Medical Center (VAMC) Asheville, North Carolina is seeking potential Small Business sources to provide weekly pickup and delivery of laboratory specimens from two Community Based Outpatient Clinics and the Veteran Affairs Medical Center on a daily basis. Contractor/courier will be responsible for transporting etiological specimens. Contractor will be responsible for training its drivers in the transport of etiologic specimens in accordance with the requirements of the College of American Pathology (CAP). The VA is seeking potential sources to provide these services. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 492110, Standard size 25.5M. This is a sources sought notice only. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of firm, size of business and any pertinent information which demonstrates firms' ability to meet the above requirement.
