- Description
- The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), has a requirement for the repair / replacement two Sluice Gates, fabricate or acquire bulkheads and fabricate or acquire steel grate staircase. The project is located at S.O. Conte Anadromous Fish Laboratory, Turners Falls, Massachusetts. The Government anticipates award of a Commercial, Firm Fixed Price type contract. The work must be coordinated in such a way as to be completed by 10/30/2010. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the internet on or about 10/15/2009. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). A formal solicitation, statement of work, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time. This requirement is being issued as a total small business set-aside utilizing the Small Business Demonstration Program. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 and the size standard is $33.5. The magnitude of the construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. There is no incumbent contractor. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the Act. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract.
