- SPAWAR Systems Center Charleston intends to award a sole-source contract toNorthrup Grumman Space and Mission Systems. This procurement coversproducts and services to sustain Surveillance and Tracking Radar Processors(STRAP) and related equipment. Northrup Grumman Space and MissionSystems is currently performing the proposed services and providing suppliesunder contract N65236-07-D-6874.Northrup Grumman is the original source for these supplies and services.Procurement of supplies and services from any other source would result insubstantial duplication of cost to the Government such as training newpersonnel and providing new facilities, which is not expected to be recoveredthrough competition as well as unacceptable delays in fulfillment of agencyrequirements.An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Performance-Based type contract is anticipated. The NAICS Code is 541519 and the sizestandard is $25 million.
