Description
Specs and Tech Provisions Statement of Work Bid Schedule The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District is seeking to award one firm-fixed price contract for the inspection and possible repair of the Tugboat Cheraw. The inspection/repair process awards one single contract that requires the contractor to properly dry dock and inspect the Tugboat. This commercial acquisition shall be open to small business offerors only. This solicitation is small business set aside and there will not be a formal public bid opening. Contractor will bid on base contract line item; and options, for more details please see Attachment #3 "Special Provisions" Attachment #3. The Government will evaluate offers for award and evaluation of the options will not obligate the Government to exercise the options in accordance with FAR 52.217-5. The tugboat shall be available on 20 November 2009 and all work must be completed by 17 March 2010. Project shall comply with all U.S. standards. Evaluation factors will be based on best value. OFFERORS ARE ADVISED AN AWARD MAY BE MADE WITHOUT DISCUSSION OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE PROPOSAL RECEIVED. Emailed proposals will be sent to kenneth.e.mackay@usace.army.mil by 4:00 PM on 27 October 2009 to the U.S. Corps of Engineers Office. The solicitation documents will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunity Website at www.fbo.gov Hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests will be accepted. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor FBO for any amendments. Registration requirements (applicable to US firms only, as required by DFARS 204.7300), all US contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Award will be made as a whole to one Offeror.
