Description

AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT PROJECT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation from the Fish and Wildlife Service to procure equipment rental only of one 322 CAT type excavator, one 10 yard dump truck, fuel and required insurance without operators for a period of 120 days. The equipment must be in good working condition. The contractor shall be required to perform all required maintenance within a reasonable amount of time to limit disruption of operations. This announcement is prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 10181Q016 and may be viewed thru a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System-Electronic Commerce:http://www.fedbizopps.gov or http://www.nbc.gov. For assistance in downloading information from the National Business Center contact the helpdesk at (703) 390-6633. No further notice will be posted. This solicitation document and incorporated clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 05-26. This Acquisition is unrestricted and is open to small and large businesses. The associated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 532412, Product or Service code (PSC) is W038. The business size standard is $7.0 million. This RFQ will be award based on lowest price. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE: At the work site and will be subject to observation and inspection by U.S Fish and Wildlife Service personnel or authorized representative. Federal Acquisition clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
