- This acquisition is unrestricted. This is a two-phase design build project which includes the design and construction of a new dental clinic (22 chair, approximately 16,000 SF) to provide dental treatment for active duty soldiers. Spaces will include reception areas, patient treatment rooms, patient education spaces, laboratories, records storage, restrooms, offices mechanical/electrical rooms, janitor room, staff lounge, and staff toilet/shower rooms. Facility design and construction will include architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, civil, geotechnical, landscaping, and interior design disciplines as a minimum. Sustainable design and development (SDD), LEED, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPACT05), Measures in Accordance with the Department of Defense (DOD) Minimum Antiterrorism for building standards, Commissioning and Comprehensive building and related interior design services will be required. No major demolition is associated with this project. Supporting features include electric service, water, sanitary sewer and gas, communications, parking area and site improvements. The cost range for this project is $10 million - $25 million. Solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 23 October 2009. A pre-proposal conference will be held and details will be provided in the solicitation. This notice replaces the notice provided under W912BV-09-R-2028 in its entirety to correct the solicitation number to reflect a Fiscal Year 2010 requirement.
