Description
Synopsis: THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) ACTION. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC SW region has a requirement for a task to conduct a Historic American Buildings Survey/Historic American Engineering Record (HABS/HAER) of the Sweetwater Mine. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, lodging, supplies (except those designated as Government furnished), and incidentals to perform all work required to complete the project on time and on schedule. The contractor shall comply with the contract requirements with regards to work and material. Additionally, the work encompasses the following: •research the history of the Mine site with available documentation and gather documentation according to the Secretary of Interior’s Standards and Guidelines for Architectural and Engineering Documentation; •complete Level II HABS documentation at the Mine site and; •complete HAER documentation on the Mine site following the Historic American Engineering Record Guidelines for Historical Reports (2008) LOCATION The project area is located on approximately 186 acres+/- of National Forest System (NFS) lands in (protracted) portions of the SW ¼, SE ¼ Sec.17; and portions of the NE ¼, E ½, NW ¼ Sec. 20, R. 19E, T.3s, MDB&M in Mariposa County. The Mine is located on the Bass Lake Ranger District, Sierra National Forest, approximately 4 miles northwest of the Jerseydale Fire Station. The NAICS code is 541310. The estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
