- This is a request for information to identify potential Small Business concerns in the San Antonio, TX area. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. The NPS anticipates issuing a separate request for quote prior to awarding a contract for these services. To ensure receipt of the separate request for quote, interested Small Businesses shall respond to this announcement as instructed below. The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking Small Business concerns in the San Antonio, TX area to host a 3-day training event in Feb 2010 for approximately 60 NPS personnel. The specific dates in Feb 2010 for the training event have not been finalized, however the week of 15 - 19 Feb 2010 has been ruled out. Training attendees will require lodging accommodations Monday night through Thursday night of the week chosen for the training event. Interested vendors must be able to provide guaranteed overnight accommodations for all attendees, provide a meeting room capable of comfortably seating all attendees, provide light refreshments throughout the day for all attendees, and provide audio visual equipment (projection screen(s), projector(s), extension cords, and easels for flip charts. Respondents to this announcement shall specify the dates in February 2010 during which they have the facility availability to support this training event. Respondents to this announcement shall be Small Business concerns certified with the Small Business Administration (SBA) The NPS anticipates contracting directly with a Hotel / Conference Center for these services, not an independent event planning service. Interested Small Businesses should email Contract Specialist, Kortni Selinger at kortni_selinger@contractor.nps.gov no later than 4:00PM Eastern Time Friday, October 9, 2009 if they would like to be included on the bidders list for this requirement.
