(GDAIS) Class Justification and Approval for Other than Full and Open Competition for Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS) Fire Control Subsytem (FCS) Common Missile Compartment (CMC) engineering efforts with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, Inc. (GDAIS) Reference Presolicitation notice(s): N00030-10-Q-0005 and N00030-10-Q-0005-1 General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems of Pittsfield, MA was awarded contract N00030-10-C-0005 on September 30, 2009 for the total amount (inclusive of optional line items) of $152,818,728. The effective date of this contract is October 1, 2009. This contract is for FY 2010 and FY 2011 United States (US) and United Kingdom (UK) SSBN Fire Control System (FCS) and the US SSGN Attack Weapon Control System (AWCS) engineering support, including training and support equipment. In addition, this contract includes the FY 2010 and FY 2011 US and UK Sea Based Strategic Deterrent (SBSD) Strategic Weapons System (SWS) Fire Control Subsystem efforts necessary for the concept development, prototyping, and initial design efforts for a Common Missile Compartment (CMC), prior to and following, the initiation of a ACAT 1D program for the SSBN and SSGN OHIO Class Replacement. The place of performance (100%) is at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, Pittsfield, MA. This contract was not competitively procured. Pursuant to FAR 6.305, attached are the applicable Justifications and Approvals for Other than Full and Open Competition (J&As).
