- This amendment to previously published announcement is to change the availability date of the solicitation from 10/16/2009 to "on or about" 10/06/2009, to change the competitive procedure from Full and Open Competition to Total Small Business Set-aside, to re-assign the NAICS code from 333120 to 333923 and to change the Point of Contact from Larry McMichen to Margaret Fritts. The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), has a requirement for the purchase and installation of a Three Ton Bridge Crane. The project is located at S.O. Conte Anadromous Fish Laboratory, Tturners Falls, Massachusetts. The Government anticipates award of a Commercial, Firm Fixed Price type contract. The procurement is anticipated to include a period of performance of 12/16/2009 through 10/30/2010. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the internet on or about 10/06/2009. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). A formal solicitation, statement of work, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time. This requirement is being issued as a total small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333923 and the size standard is 500 employees. The magnitude of the construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. There is no incumbent contractor. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the Act. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract.
