Description
This is a sources sought synopsis for small business acquisition planning purposes and no formal solicitation exists at this time. MSC is soliciting input from Small Business (SB), 8(a), HUBZone and other socio-economic concerns to determine the technical, administrative, management and financial capability of such offerors to perform this kind of work. Interested small business offerors must submit a brief but complete capability statement that demonstrates the capability to perform this service for an evaluation to this office no later than 8 October 2009. All responses to this sources sought shall include company name, address, business size and type (NAICS 561110), point of contact with email address and phone number, a cost estimate, as well as previous procurements performed of similar size and complexity. This information will be used by the Contracting Officer to assist in developing the procurement strategy, including what kind of small business set-aside is warranted. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Temporary administrative services will be required in support of the Administrative Support Center (ASC) while Government personnel are absent due to illness, promotions, transfers, or retirement. Temporary administrative support to the ASC will be required until such time as MSC can hire permanent replacement employees. Contractor services are required to perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the ASC. Some of the specific services to be provided are: Process Incoming Mail and Deliveries, Prepare/Process Outgoing Correspondence, Process Outgoing Mail/Deliveries, Maintain Databases, Excel Spreadsheets and Prepare Reports (Add, Delete, Modify and Retrieve Data), Manage Office Supplies Inventory, Maintain Office Files, Print, Duplicate (Copy) Files and Collate as Required into Binders, Coordinate, Update, Publicize, Administratively Support, Schedule Meetings, and Special Events, Answer, Document, Direct, Assist Phone Calls, Inquiries, and Visitors, Manage Training Requests, and Administrative Mustering Reports. This requirement is expected to be for two (2) full time employees and last for a period not to exceed 120 days with the possibility of an option for an additional 120 days.
