Function is to transmit rate of fuel flow to instrument panel. Dimensions are approximately 7.75 inches by 3.5 inches by 4.8 inches. Nuclear Hardened Material.Quantity: Total 3 Year Best Estimated Quantity of 38 each. First Year Order of 24 each; Second Year Order of 8 each; Third Year Order of 6 each. Total Contract Maximum Quantity is 57 each.Destination: B FB2039, Tinker AFB OK.Delivery Schedule: 24 each on or before 29 JAN 2011.QR: Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation.All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements.An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS.Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Request for Written Quotation/Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requestors are acceptable. The anticipated award date will be 60 to 90 days after the issuance of this notice.This is a sole source requirement to Ametek Incorporated (Cage Code 97424) for New Manufactured Material. The data needed to procure this part competitively is not physically available, cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for competitive solicitation of New Manufactured Material.New and Unused Government Surplus Material will also be solicited for this requirement.
