- Appendix A - Performance Work Statement Amendment to the Solictation This is a Total Small Business Set Aside. This is a requirementfor the overhaul of the KC-135 Flap Drive Offset Gearbox Assembly. Thecontractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and allmaterial to accomplish the overhaul, test, packing, preservation andpackaging of the KC-135 Flap Drive Offset Gearbox Assembly. A firm fixedprice type contract is contemplated. The solicitation number will beFA8118-09-R-0059. The items and quantities are as follows: Item 0001(IPE): Overhaul NSN: 1680-00-314-9112FL, P/N: 5-84048; Applicable toKC-135 aircraft; Quantity: 3 each. Item 0002: Overhaul NSN:1680-00-314-9112FL, P/N: 5-84048; Applicable to KC-135 aircraft;Quantity: Basic Year, 175 each; Option I, 175 each; Option II, 175 each;Option III, 175 each; Option IV, 175 each. Item 0003: Over and AboveWork. Item 0004: Data IAW DD1423s. Deliveries are to be in accordancewith instructions received from the Production Management Specialistprior to shipment(s): on or before 35 each every 45 days after receiptof order and reparables. The item shall be overhauled IAW the OriginalEquipment Manufacturer (OEM) Specifications. An IPE may be required.The approximate solicitation issue date will be 19 June 09 closing 20July 09. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. For qualification information/sourceapproval requests contact Source Development Office, OC-ALC/BC(405)739-7243. Award will be based on meeting our requirements andcannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. APPROVEDSOURCES: Oxwell (Cage: 27976) and Mid America Aviation (Cage: 0UES3).All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or a quotation whichshall be considered by the agency. PR NUMBER: FD2030-09-07492 NOTE: AnOmbudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potentialofferors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. Thepurpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the programdirector or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns,issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate governmentpersonnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strictconfidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does notparticipate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selectionprocess.
