- This is a competitive, 3-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) solicitation for the Outserts Clear and Neutral and Lenses Right and Left, NSN: 4240-01-260-8707/8706 and 4240-01-2916270/289-5275, P/N: 5-1-1545-10/20 and 5-1-1058-/2. The maximum estimated quantity for all items over the three year period is 2,346,000. The guaranteed minimum quantities are as follows:30,000 Clear Outserts, 25,000 Neutral Outserts, 20,000 Right Lens and 20,000 Left Lenses. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 06 Nov 09. The Outserts consist of pairs of left and right handed lenses molded from polycarbonate material installed in m older rubber boots with an alloy retainer ring. The Lenses are individual right or left lenses molded from polycarbonate material. Live agent testing is required as part of the First Article. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102 (2) (7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://aais.ria.army.mil. CAUTION: The solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain and said amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for the bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
