- Description
- The proposed effort includes both model development and hardware demonstration based on new electrospray technology and could provide key energy extraction capability for deployable portable systems. The three primary goals of this effort are as follows: 1. Demonstrate positive energy production is possible from an ElectroHydroDynamic (EHD) device; 2. Build a small scale prototype producing 100 W/m2 with input wind of 15 m/s; and 3. Evaluate an engineering design approach for scalable portable systems.
