- Description
- This acquisition will be solicited to establish a firm fixed contract. The requirement is for NSN: 1440-01-160-2594, Drive Assembly, and will be authorized by PR: 0022699070. The procurement will be solicited as unrestricted. The requirement is for 42 each and the solicitation will include a 100% quantity option. The NSN is coded as 3/D with one approved manufacturer listed as Klune Industries, Inc (05DN8), P/N: 12293834. Inspection and Acceptance are at origin, FOB is at Destination. Delivery of 145 days will be reqeusted. This is a critical application item, however the NSN is not coded as a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per SAP. This NSN is not identified as a commercial off the shelf item. Progress Payments will not be requested as the criteria set forth at FAR 32.5 have not been met. Automated Best Value System provisions will be included in the solicitation. Subcontracting plan and cost and pricing data will not be requested since the criteria set forth in FAR 19.7 and 15.403 have not been met.
