- Description
- Request for Proposal number DOLJ09SA00008 for continued operation of the Phoenix Job Corps Center will be made available approximately January 30, 2009 by written request to agency or at the following website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The Phoenix Job Corps Center is located at 518 South 3rd Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004-2506. This is an unrestricted procurement. Job Corps is a residential training program for economically disadvantaged youth between the ages of 16 and 24. The successful offeror will manage and operate a government-owned facility and hire staff for residential living, basic education, vocational training, outreach, career development, career transition services, and health care services in accordance with the applicable DOL/Job Corps regulations. This contract will not include any direct Outreach/Admissions services. The Center’s contract capacity is for 132 residential males, 97 residential females, 107 non-residential males, and 114 non-residential females. The total contract capacity is 450 trainee participants. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a Performance-Based Cost-Plus-Incentive Fee contract for a two-year base period from November 1, 2009 to October 31, 2011 plus three unilateral options of one year each. A procurement pre-proposal conference at the Center will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. local time on February 11, 2009 followed immediately by a walk-through of both the Center and satellite. It is recommended that interested parties download the RFP prior to attending the pre-proposal conference and walk-through. All questions prior to the pre-proposal conference should be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. Proposals will be due no later than April 3, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. local time and will be received at: U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM), 90 7th Street, Suite 12-300, San Francisco, CA 94103, Attn: Sheryl Algee, Contracting Officer.
