Description
RECOVERY ACT ACTION THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY UNDER THE NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH (NIH) BUSINESS SYSTEMS OFFICE (NBS), OFFICE OF THE DIRECOTER (0D) In accordance with FAR Part 5.7 Publicizing Requirements Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act this is a notification of a modification to an existing, competively awarded fixed priced delivery order using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding. The contract is for administrative, technical and logistical support and was competed and awarded in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 8.4 Federal Supply Schedules. It is the intent of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to award delivery order number HHSN-276-2009-00572U with Oracle USA, Inc. (DUNS No. 005536698). This initiative, approved by the NIH Management Budget and Work Group (MBWG) and the Director, NIH provides improvements to the NIH enterprise resource program (ERP) infrastructure to support the implementation of the ARRA, including activities to improve accountability, transparency and reporting, and mitigating the risk of fraud, waste and abuse, of all federal funds including ARRA funds. This initiative strengthens ERP access and transaction controls, and will provide the NIH with and enterprise-wide risk management tool to manage both financial and programmatic risks. The contractor will provide resources to assist in the implementation of the Oracle Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) application suite of software, to include testing, configuration, documentation and training. The contractor shall provide resources in quantities and timelines in accordance with, and as notified by, the current ordering processes of the Project Officer to meet agency demands for surge support.
