- Pre-Solicitation Synopsis Lock and Dam 5 I-Wall Repairs Lock and Dam No. 5 is located approximately 18 miles north of Winona, MN, on US 61. The contractor will be responsibly for the demolition and repair of the concrete wall sections. The Government shall dewater the lock chamber so that the awarded party can conduct the repair. The repair schedule consists of repairing the initial four to six inches of surface concrete on several monoliths throughout the intermediate wall (I-wall). The estimated surface area is 2000 ft2 with an estimated volume of 1000 ft3. The awarded party shall have from Dec. 1, 2009 to March 1, 2009 to complete the work.
