- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): Humphrey Mechanical, Inc., N40085-09-D-5340; North State Mechanical, Inc., N40085-09-D-5341; T.A. Woods Company, N40085-09-D-5342; Virtexco Corporation, N40085-09-D-5343; R&W Construction Co., N40085-09-D-5344; and Mechworks Mechanical Contractors, Inc., N40085-09-D-5345 under the Mechanical Multiple Award Construction Contract (Mechanical MACC). This action has been awarded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. In compliance with this Act, the Government posts this notice that award was made under Contract N40085-09-D-5340-0007 in the amount of $5,695,400.00 to Humphrey Mechanical, Inc. (DUNS# 604715581) of Jacksonville, NC. This task order award is made in accordance with FAR Subpart 16.5 - Indefinite-Delivery Contracts, Paragraph 16.505. Summary of Project Scope: The work to be performed under this contract provides for renovations and repairs to Building AS705 including, but not limited to, replacing all the mechanical systems; installing a sprinkler system; replacement of the electrical and telephone/communication systems; expanding and repairing the lobby area including providing American Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible toilet rooms; replacing the aluminum framed exterior room wall systems with metal stud walls and blast resistant doors and windows; replacing all tubs and vanities, providing two ADA accessible rooms; providing new flooring, wall treatments, and ceilings in all guest rooms and the meeting room; and exterior repairs including spalling concrete, railing repair, ADA ramps, and stair repairs; and incidental related work.
