- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER: N40083-09-R-0012, SRS, Inc., 8(a) Program. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO SRS, Inc. of Gallatin, Tennessee for Repair Navy Operational Support Center (NOSC), Chattanooga, Tennessee in coordination with the U.S. Small Business Administration Tennessee District Office. The solicitation will not be available until approximately June 30, 2009. This project involves performing all operations in providing a whole center repair on the naval and Marine Corps Reserve Center (2-story building w/37,362 AF) and Vehicle Maintenance Facility (VMF) (one story w/3,076 SF) in Chattanooga, TN. Both buildings were constructed in 1996 and are in need of major renovations of deteriorated components to extend the useful life of the facilities. Repairs will include repairing/replacing roofs, metal coping, and exterior brick finish systems, repair/replace windows for AT/FP, damaged doors and door frames, bathroom and lockers, repairing inadequate and failing existing HVAC systems including controls, repair security exterior parking lot lighting and interior electrical and energy efficient lighting systems, plumbing and piping system, ceiling system/carpeting, painting, egress lighting and alarm systems and the fire protection system to meet code. Pavement in parking needs to be repaired and install a new concrete pavement parking lot in VFM area. The period of performance is approximately 365-calendar days after notice to proceed is issued. The project will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract. The procurement is estimated at $1,500,000.00 to $2,000,000.00.
